Brother South Africa has released two new inkjet multi-function centres. The 3-in-1 DCP-J 105 InkBenefit and the 4-in-1 MFC-J 200 InkBenefit are designed for high volume users and have low running costs.
Using Brother’s Lamination and Piezo Technology, the printheads in these printers are designed to work faster and reduce damage and corrosion to the printhead, which means users will have faster printing speeds and lower maintenance costs in the long run.
The printers also benefit from Brother’s newest range of high yield InkBenefit ink cartridges, which boast page yields of 2400 pages for the black ink and 1300 pages for the colour ink, meaning you will have to replace your printer ink less frequently.
The DCP-J 105 InkBenefit printer can scan, copy and print, while the MFC-J 200 InkBenefit can scan, copy, print and fax. Both have a print speed of 11 pages per minute for black and 6 pages per minute for colour.
Both can handle a variety of standard paper sizes, including A4 and photo paper. The MFC-J200 also has an automatic document feeder, allowing for unattended scanning, copying and faxing.
The Apple iPrint & Scan app will work with both printers, allowing you to print directly from your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. You can also scan documents directly to your Apple gadgets. Both printers also come with wireless connectivity to allow you to set up the printer for access on your home network.
Both printers use the following Brother ink cartridges:
