HP recently unveiled the new HP LaserJet Pro M201 series of wireless laser printers for the South African market. The printers, with their innovative technology and wireless connectivity are perfect for workers who are always on the go.
The HP LaserJet Pro M201 series allows you to send print jobs directly to the printer from your laptop, smartphone or tablet wherever you are, making your printing experience truly wireless.
The entry-level HP LaserJet M201n is a fully network-enabled printer with a variety of printing options including Ethernet connectivity for easy sharing and a USB port allows you to print directly from flash drives. You can also access the printer’s tools from a PC to manage print supplies and printer settings.
The M201n is also compatible with HP’s ePrint app as well as Apple’s AirPrint for printing directly from iPhone or iPad with no additional set up required.
The HP LaserJet M201dw boasts all of the above features as well as wireless and wireless direct printing, meaning that you won’t need to connect your printer to a wired network, and is capable of connecting to your wireless network automatically. The M201dw also features automatic duplexing.
Both printers come with a 250 page paper tray and have a maximum output capacity of 150 sheets. The printers are able to handle a variety of paper sizes and types including plain paper, transparencies and cardboard.
The printers also boast an easy to use LCD control panel and a print speed of up to 25 pages per minute (PPM). The printers use either a standard or high yield black HP toner cartridge: the HP 83A black toner or the HP 83X black toner.
The printers will be available from Drive Control Corporation (DCC) and other specialist retailers and resellers.
